It's our goal to provide you with a remarkable and pleasant design experience each and every step of the way, providing you with all the confidence you need to make the best decisions for your business.
We have created a step-by-step process from start to finish, removing any mystery or fear of what’s going on with your project at all times. The timeline of the project can take approximately 5-7 weeks, depending on the client’s response time, extra services, and the number of revisions. We understand how critical it is for your brand or website to be live; this is why we only take on 2 projects per month to ensure that your business receives the attention to detail and energy needed to accomplish all work on time and at the highest quality.
The Process
01. INQUIRE +CONSULTATION Virtual Coffee Chat
After you’ve taken time and read through the process, you can schedule a free 20-30 minute consultation via phone or Google Hangouts. On the call you will be able to ask me any questions, and we can get to know you and your business. We will discuss your visions for the future and your project goals. In this we want to ensure that we are the right fit for you and your business.
02. SIGN CONTRACT + PAY DEPOSIT
After consultation you will receive an email to sign a contract, this is so that we’re both fully protected before we begin working together. Now that we’ve talked and you’ve decided you want to move forward, you'll need to pay a 30% deposit to secure your spot in my schedule. Then 35% is due at the start of the project, and the final 35% is due when the project is complete but before the final files are handed over.
03. PROJECT TAKE OFF
Now that we know were a perfect fit! We can get the ball rolling I’ll set you up with your own client portal. This is where you will receive a welcome link that includes my process, timeline and what information is needed to get the project started. This is where we’ll communicate and keep all your files and feedback. Don’t worry its really simple and I’ll even walk you through how to use it!
04. RESEARCH + HOMEWORK
You’ll need to answer an in-depth questionnaire tailored to the type of services you are requesting. I will ask you several questions regarding your vision and goals. In this step I ask you to do homework and look for examples that you like and dislike. The questionnaire will be referred back to often during the creative process so please take your time to think though the questions and answer as accurately as possible.
Secondly, we will create a collaborative Pinterest board with inspiration. This step will give me the chance to get to know your likes with: typography, colors, and imagery. This helps me to understand the style you want to achieve.
05. MOOD & COLOR PALETTE
Creating a mood board is all about merging together the perfect mixture of aesthetics for your brand. Once this is approved by you, we will begin the design process.
06. CONCEPTS & REVISIONS
This is where the designing is set in motion! I’ll review your questionnaire, along with your color palette and inspiration board and create your four logo designs.You’ll choose the one you like best, and depending on the service you choose will determine how many revisions are allowed.
07. SOCIAL MEDIA BRANDING
If social media branding is included in your package then this is the time I would create it. I'll use your colors, logos, patterns and fonts to create a cohesive and seamless look across your social media, creating headers and profile images for your Instagram account.
08. WEBSITE DESIGN + DEVELOPMENT
I will create a Coming Soon page then I’ll design a mock layout of your homepage before I start working on the live site. You’ll have two rounds of revisions to request changes. After you’ve approved it, I will make the page live! Then we will get to work on your 3 other pages.
09. WEBSITE WALK THROUGH
Don't worry, I'm not going to leave you to figure out how to use your website all by yourself. We'll set up a 30 minute consult call where I walk you through how to use and update your website.
10. FINALIZING FILES
Once we’ve finalized your design, I will package your files in the varying file formats (jpg, png, eps, and pdf) that was included in the service you choose. You will be sent an email with a google drive link of all your files for you to download. Keep in mind that file links are only guaranteed 30-days from date shared.
11. LAUNCH YOUR BRAND & SITE
The moment you’ve been waiting for is here! Now you can grow and focus on building your business and connecting with your clients.
Some of these steps may not apply. It depends on whether your package includes them.
